Jess and Mare are best friends, business partners, and the creators of Gathre (pronounced gath-ur). As young moms, they struggled with the disconnect between wanting to live with intention and having lives so jam-packed we could hardly keep up. They realized if they wanted to live purposefully, they’d have to first clear out a little space. The original Gathre mat was born out of this mentality - it gave them a literal space to gather with their kids, but was always about more. It was about making the effort to create a moment. Not a blip or a blur or a blink of an eye - a space of time where they could stop and be together.
